Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains

We visited this month the first international retrospective of one of the world’s most iconic and influential bands. Presented by the V&A, Pink Floyd and Iconic Entertainment Studios.

We Experienced a spectacular and unparalleled audio-visual journey through Pink Floyd's unique and extraordinary worlds, chronicling the music, design and staging of the band, from their debut in the 1960s through to the present day.

We liked watching the way of representing the band's activity through a journey with sensational scenography each referring to an album and a period of their career.

The exhibition Their Mortal Remains concludes with The Endless River – the largely instrumental album Gilmour and Mason constructed in tribute to Richard Wright, who died in 2008.

Their performance ends with a slightly uneasy group hug, which one band member has to be visibly coerced into joining: Pink Floyd were awkward in the spotlight until the last.

We highly recommend this exhibition even though perhaps the price of £ 20 remains a bit high, on the other hand the quality is paid and this is known with the Pink Floyd!
